Bijou started out as me helping friends pick out jewelry and pull together polished looks, but it didn’t take long before I realized there was a bigger need. Affordable, stylish accessories were hard to come by, so in 2018 I launched Bijou (French for jewel) as a little Instagram shop right here in Birmingham. What began as a side hustle has grown into my full-time gig, now reaching women nationwide.
It’s a true one-woman show around here — I’m the packer, shipper, customer service rep, social media “team”… you name it, I’m probably doing it! Thanks for supporting me and sticking with Bijou even when things get a little crazy.
And when I’m not wrapping orders or sharing new arrivals, I’m soaking up life as a mama of three. My girl gang — a 5-year-old, 4-year-old, and our newest tiny queen — keep me inspired (and exhausted!) in the very best way.
